Embark on an extraordinary weekend in Las Vegas! From chic accommodations to iconic attractions, pool parties, and sensational dining, my travel blog unveils the best of this dynamic city.
Las Vegas holds a special place in my heart, and my recent weekend there was nothing short of amazing. Despite having visited numerous times, the city’s vibrant energy and endless possibilities never fail to captivate me time and again.
Beyond the renowned bars and pool parties, Las Vegas boasts a diverse array of experiences that make it a must-visit destination for everyone.
Where to stay:
For your weekend in Las Vegas, a diverse array of accommodations awaits, catering to every budget and taste, both on and off the strip.
This hotel has a fantastic central location, spacious rooms and a fantastic swimming pool and it won’t break the bank.
Opened in March 2021, this off-strip hotel is conveniently located approximately 30 minutes from the Linq Promenade and 20 minutes from Miracle Mile. The rooms are spacious, complemented by an excellent pool and spa on-site, along with a multitude of bars and restaurants.
What to do:
Kickstart your Las Vegas weekend adventure at the iconic Las Vegas Sign. Arrive early to beat the crowds, and don’t worry about capturing the moment—there’s usually a photographer on-site, ready to capture your essence for a small fee.
Witness the enchanting Bellagio Fountains, a captivating spectacle that graces the city every 30 minutes (or 15 minutes depending on the season).
For breathtaking views, take a spin on the High Roller, North America’s largest observation wheel, offering a stunning panorama from 550 feet in the air.
Venture to Fremont Street, a five-block entertainment hub where you can soar on the SlotZilla zip line under a massive video screen.
You can’t spend a weekend in Las Vegas without catching Big Elvis, performed by the incredible Pete Vallee who has been on the Strip for over 18 years.
Las Vegas Pool Parties
The Las Vegas Pool Party scene is not short of international headliners, free-flowing alcohol, and small bikinis from March through September. Moreover, your weekend in Las Vegas would not be complete without visiting one of these vibrant pool parties.
25’000 sq. foot rooftop oasis with amazing views of the strip, and features multiple pool experiences, luxury cabanas, and bungalows.
47,000 sq. foot of Balinese-inspired tropical oasis with lush scenery
Pools aren’t just for daytime; XS offers an elegant and intimate environment surrounding Encore’s 40,000 sq. foot European pool.
Cocktails & Dancing in Las Vegas
There are some amazing bars and clubs in Las Vegas for your weekend away, ranging from dive bars to speakeasies to over-the-top glitz and glamour. Regardless of your taste, there is a bar for you.
A pretty venue with a great atmosphere, hand crafted cocktails and light bites
An absolutely ] bar housing three unique experiences on different floors each serving up a signature cocktail
Offering 180-degree views of the Las Vegas Strip, a chilled-out experience away from the noise of the Strip
Offering sweeping vistas of the Las Vegas Strip, this venue features a dance floor, a 50-foot-long bar, cabanas, sofas, and DJ booths; consequently, it provides an ideal setting for a night of dancing beneath the stars.
Eating in Las Vegas
When it comes to eating in Las Vegas, you’ll be spoiled for choice. However, here are some of my favorites, but it is impossible to name them all.
Boozy Brunch
My top 3 buffets (all that offer a boozy brunch option) are The Buffet at Bellagio, Wicked Spoon, and The Buffet at Wynn. Each with different cuisines, carving stations, and seafood stations.
Las Vegas Buffets are different from any other buffet you’ve experienced.
With an amazing open-air patio overlooking the central strip, it’s the perfect location for some people watching while enjoying amazing French cuisine. However, patio tables cannot be reserved and operate on a first-come, first-served policy.
Serving a mix of authentic and modern cuisine, with a wide selection of choice for both food and cocktails
Carmines Italian dining, with family sized portions to be shared around the table with family and friends.
While I don’t delve into gambling, Las Vegas offers an abundance of tables and slots for those wishing to try their luck.
Whether you’re a seasoned visitor or a first-timer, Las Vegas promises an unforgettable weekend filled with excitement and entertainment. Good luck!
